Samsung has added a new member to the Galaxy A series. The company has unveiled the new Galaxy A80. With this smartphone, Samsung has added a new chapter to the selfie camera implementation.

Samsung has implemented a motorized sliding-flipping camera module in Galaxy A80. We have seen the weird Oppo Reno’s shark fin sliding selfie camera last day.

With the beginning of 2019, we have seen many crazy camera implementations to get rid of the notch.

Samsung Galaxy A80 has a 6.7 inches full view Infinity Super AMOLED display and supports a resolution of Full HD+. The display also houses an on-screen fingerprint scanner.

A80’s sliding-fliping camera module contains a triple-camera array. A 48-megapixel f/2.0 camera, the second one is an ultrawide 8-megapixel f/2.2 camera and a third 3D depth-sensing ToF (time-of-flight) sensor. The same camera module act as rear as well as selfie camera.

A80 is packed with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor. Samsung Galaxy A80 is the first smartphone to come with this processor. It has 128GB of onboard storage and 8GB of RAM. Unfortunately, there is no 3.5mm audio jack is there. The phone packs a 3700mAh battery with 25W Super Fast Charging and intelligent battery management. The phone will run on Android 9 Pie with One UI.
