Xiaomi Redmi 7 Exclusive First Look, Full Specification With Hands-on Video

After the launch of Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro in the Indian market, Xiaomi confirmed that it is working on another budget smartphone which will come to market in the name Redmi 7.

Two days ago, the Redmi 7 appeared on Chinese Telecommunication regulatory TENAA, which revealed some of its specifications. For now, the TENAA listing is been updated and it shows clear looks of the device along with the full specs.

The upcoming Redmi 7 is listed on TENAA under model number M1810F16LE and the images shared by the website revealed that the device will come in at least one gradient design.

It is clearly seen that the presence of dual camera array on the back accompanied by a LED flash and a fingerprint sensor.

As Xiaomi smartly left the front of the phone barren, but if you look closely, you can spot the front-facing camera and a large cutout for the earpiece towards the top. Which indicates that it can keep the same water-drop-style notch design as the Redmi Note 7 does.

As per TENAA, the Redmi 7 will feature a 19:9 aspect ratio type 6.26-inch LCD display of resolution 1500×720 pixels and 271ppi pixels density. Considering the physical size, the upcoming handset measures in 158.6 x 76.4 x 8.9mm and weighs about 180g.

The Redmi 7 will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor, unfortunately, TENAA doesn’t give any clearance on the actual name of the processor. The device will run over Android 9 Pie based MIUI 10 out of the box and will ship with a long-lasting 3900mAh battery under the hood.

The rear mount camera array includes a 12MP primary sensor with PDAF support equipped with a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, there will an 8MP selfie shooter fitted inside the water-drop-style notch.

Moving to the RAM and storage section, Redmi 7 will be available in three different variants  2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage, 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. In case if you need more internal space, you can expand the storage up to 256GB via a dedicated Micro SD card.

If you are too much choosy about colors then here is good news for as the Redmi 7 will be ship in Black, Blue, Gray, Green, Pink, Purple, Red, and White colors. From which you can choose your favorite one.

Though there is no declaration came from Redmi about this device but we’ll get more information on March 18 as Xiaomi is going to held an event on this date in China.
