Xiaomi will launch its latest flagship, Mi 9, in China on February 20. Xiaomi has officially confirmed that Mi 9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset. The global launch date of Mi 9 will be February 24 on Mobile World Congress 2019.
The 1+3+4 CPU core setup in the Snapdragon 855 will give a 45% increase in performance over the 845. You can also get a 20% boost GPU. It will also support enhanced features like Wi-Fi 6 support and HDR10+ video (4K at 60fps).
Mi 9 will be the earliest phones to have the latest Snapdragon chipset. We are nor far away from the official release of Samsung Galaxy S10. Samsung already teased some highlights of this phone on the Vietnams YouTube page. Samsung Galaxy S10 global variants phones will be powered by Snapdragon 855.
Mi 9 will have triple camera setup on the back. Mi 9 is rumored to include a 48MP primary sensor and 12MP secondary sensor with PDAF support. The third one is a TOF camera. Some rumors also suggest that there will be a 25MP selfie shooter on the front.
